The late Deborah Samuel’s family has called out, saying they desperately need help since life in Port Harcourt is not easy for them.
Remember that on May 12, 2022, Islamic extremists killed Deborah, a female student at the Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto State, citing accusations of blasphemy against the Prophet Mohammed.
The 200-level student was burned alive allegedly for telling her peers not to share religious stuff to their WhatsApp group, which had been put up for educational reasons.
After Deborah’s tragic passing, OPM’s pastor, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, made a commitment to move her parents, siblings, and other family members to Port Harcourt.
Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere of Omega Power Ministries (OPM) promised them a new life in a Facebook post that became popular 11 months ago.
Among other things he promised, he offered to put them in one of OPM’s free estates where they wouldn’t have to pay rent ever again.
The Foundation for Investigative Journalism (FIJ) recently travelled to the Philippines to see Deborah’s family and discovered that the situation was somewhat reversed.
