Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti shared a heartwarming gesture from his Manchester City counterpart, Pep Guardiola. Guardiola entered the dressing room to congratulate them after their Champions League quarter-final defeat on Wednesday.

The La Liga champions secured a spot in the semi-finals with a penalty shootout victory over City, following a 1-1 draw (4-4 on aggregate) at the Etihad.

Bernardo Silva and Mateo Kovacic missed crucial penalties for Guardiola’s side, while Luka Modric missed for Real Madrid.

Despite the intense battle on the field, Ancelotti praised Guardiola’s sportsmanship, stating, “This is about the only way you can come to City and win. You work, sacrifice, and win however you can. Pep Guardiola is a gentleman, always has been. He congratulated us, wished us good luck, and that’s what a real gent does,” Ancelotti shared with Movistar.
