Transfer rumours: Fulham want Sugawara, West Ham are interested in Sangare, and Burnley’s offer for Bakayoko is rejected

According to Sports Mole, Burnley failed to sign Johan Bakayoko, West Ham United wanted Ibrahim Sangare, and Fulham wanted Yukinari Sugawara.

Burnley allegedly failed to sign PSV Eindhoven winger Johan Bakayoko.
Vincent Kompany has worked tirelessly to develop his first-team squad since promotion to the Premier League.

Despite the huge cost, Kompany is not content with his present team, and an aggressive proposal for Bakayoko was said earlier this month.

Trade analyst Fabrizio Romano said PSV would not sell the Belgian prospect for €20m (£17.17m).
Romano said other teams are watching to see whether Burnley would make a new offer.

The 20-year-old has 43 appearances for the Dutch giants, scoring seven goals and nine assists.

Sticking with PSV, West Ham United may bid for midfielder Ibrahim Sangare.

After selling Declan Rice, David Moyes bought Edson Alvarez and James Ward-Prowse to strengthen the Hammers.
Nevertheless, Flynn Downes has been loaned to Southampton, leaving Moyes in need of engine room personnel.

According to Football Insider, West Ham has contacted PSV about a move for the Ivorian.
East Londoners may recruit 24-year-old Sangare for less than his £32m release clause.

The source adds that PSV’s Champions League qualification, tied at 2-2 on aggregate with Rangers following the away first leg, may affect an asking price.

AZ Alkmaar’s Yukinari Sugawara is another Dutch player Fulham is interested in.

Marco Silva has many full-backs, but Kenny Tete may leave Craven Cottage before the summer transfer window.
According to the Daily Mail, Fulham are reportedly interested in signing Sugawara for at least £10m.

Since joining the Eredivisie club in 2019-20, Sugawara has scored 10 goals and provided 22 assists in 161 matches.
AZ would want to keep one of their key players, but the Japan international has two years remaining on his deal.
