President Bola Tinubu has committed to prioritise Nigerians’ health and safety, adding that a country’s development depends on its workforce’s health.
On Monday, in the Presidential Villa in Abuja, Mr. Bill Gates and Alhaji Aliko Dangote, President of the Aliko Dangote Foundation, addressed the President.
He praised William Gates’ tenacity and dedication to mankind and the Aliko Dangote Foundation cooperation.
The President pledged to eradicate polio, measles, malaria, and other illnesses from Africa.
He cautioned about financial challenges and fiscal limits.
The President praised Bill Gates’ climate change and malaria eradication efforts in Africa.
“You have everything it takes to aid poor nations more,” he urged the benefactor.
Dangote thanked President Tinubu following the visit.
He visited the Villa to inform the President on the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Aliko Dangote Foundation’s efforts to improve Nigeria’s health system.
Dangote pledged to work with the administration to achieve its aims.
He praised the President for removing gasoline subsidies, expressing optimism that more public monies will be devoted to education, health, infrastructure, and other vital economic sectors.
