Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide congratulates Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
On Monday, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide National President Mazi Okwu Nnabuike told media that electioneering was concluded.
Okwu stated the Igbo youths “congratulate Ahmed Bola Tinubu on his win at the closely contested election” and that it was time to unite and work with the President-elect to restore the country’s dreams and glories.
“It was a hard-fought triumph; the election jolted emotions across the country and Bola Ahemed Tinubu emerged victorious,” he said. We applaud him and encourage others.”
The Igbo Youth President also said proponents of an interim administration should drop the concept since Nigeria must go forward regardless of the election results.
“Those who feel unhappy with the election outcome are already before the tribunal; hence the optimal thing is to let the law run its course.
He advised against considering an interim administration because it would fail.
Okwu, whoever, advised the Tinubu administration to build an inclusive government to heal the nation.
He claimed the 2023 elections separated the country more than ever and that the Tinubu government must find methods to unite.
“We don’t anticipate a divided administration from the new President; he should be a real national leader and it should show in his acts and words; it is the only way the country can truly go forward,” Okwu added.
