Kia has received an exceptional outcome in this year’s World Car Awards, with the Kia EV6 GT claiming the 2023 World Performance Vehicle at the New York International Motor Show.
The judges’ acknowledgment of Kia’s cars, after evaluating a diverse variety of vehicles from throughout the world, further supports the brand’s commitment to developing innovative mobility solutions that serve society, in keeping with its ‘Movement That Inspires’ philosophy.

The Kia EV6 GT expands on the great offering of the basic model, which has already been named 2022 Automobile of the Year and 2023 North American Utility Vehicle of the Year, among other accolades.
The all-electric EV6 GT’s long-range capabilities, large cabin, and smart design saw it defeat fierce competition from more traditional petrol-powered sports cars.
The EV6 GT’s design is consistent with Kia’s new brand approach, which stresses that movement is at the root of human growth, allowing individuals to explore new places, form new relationships, and have new experiences.
