CloudClinic Ltd (CCL), a digital healthcare service firm, has introduced CloudClinic, a cloud-based healthcare system designed to permit virtual consultations between patients and certified medical practitioners. Anybody with an internet-enabled device may use the platform to obtain cheap health care from the comfort of their own homes, offices, or while on the road.
“We are delighted to introduce CloudClinic, a suite of mobile platform, web, and API services specially designed to seamlessly connect healthcare seekers in Nigeria to licensed healthcare service providers such as doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, and medical laboratories,” said Ifeanyi Aneke, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Cloud Clinic Limited, at the product’s formal unveiling in Lagos.
Aneke stated that CloudClinic was inspired by a passionate desire to provide quality and inexpensive healthcare to every Nigerian’s “doorstep.”
“We think that healthcare should be convenient and accessible to all Nigerians.” “This conviction inspired the creation of our cloud-based healthcare platform,” he explained.
CloudClinic, which collaborates with over a thousand accredited medical laboratories, pharmacies, and hospitals across Nigeria, aims to increase access to healthcare while making it more convenient.
Aneke noted that CloudClinic is also democratizing access to healthcare through its native language function, which connects patients with doctors based on their chosen native languages, assuring excellent communication and comprehension.
Further, he claimed that the platform maintains rigorous adherence to optimal health standards for patients, providing a holistic and world-class healthcare experience.
“CloudClinic offers an extensive feature that provides patients with a wide range of diagnostic, pharmaceutical, and hospital options, relying on our partnership with licensed and recognized medical laboratories and pharmacies while ensuring the confidentiality of all medical records,” Aneke explained.
Dr Amy Ojiakor, Clinical Director, Cloud Clinic Ltd, also spoke at the occasion, highlighting Nigeria’s one-to-ten thousand doctor-to-patient ratio. She stated that the ordinary Nigerian must drive great distances to reach a hospital and wait in line for hours to see a doctor, and that as a result of this constraint, Nigerian hospitals are plagued with numerous incidences of late presentation, which leads to a high death rate.
“With CloudClinic, a doctor can order an investigation or prescribe a medicine for a patient.” “The technology also allows a patient to easily discover a Medical Laboratory Pharmacy and Hospital near him or her,” she added.
According to her, CloudClinic also allows patients to have their samples gathered at home and their medications sent to them when they are unable or unable to travel to medical laboratories or pharmacies.
Flourish Nnamdi, Product Manager, Cloud Clinic Ltd, further noted that the software is user-friendly and backed by 24-hour, seven-day-a-week assistance. He urged health-care stakeholders to register on CloudClinic as a patient or doctor by downloading the app from the ITunes Store, Google Play Store, or by visiting the website.
Cloud Clinic Ltd also invites Licensed Medical Labs, Pharmacies, and Hospitals interested in collaborating with them to visit the Partnership page on the website-
