Shehu Sani, a former senator representing Kaduna Central in the 8th Senate, said on July 10 that the opposition would “go on” regardless of the Court’s ultimate decision in the presidential election petition case.

A renowned Kaduna state native, according to Sani, would harshly criticise the former governor of Lagos state if President Bola Tinubu is forced out of office by the judiciary, according to a post he made on his verified Twitter account.

Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, leaders of the opposition, have petitioned the Court to nullify Tinubu’s win.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Tinubu, was proclaimed the election’s victor by Nigeria’s Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on March 1.

In his essay, Sani stated: “If the court rules in Tinubu’s favour and his triumph is upheld, the opposition may congratulate him or denounce the decision and go on.”

Only God will be able to protect Tinubu from the ex-Kaduna emperor’s words and his upcoming book, “How we formed him, and he betrayed us,” if the Court decides against him and he loses the presidency.
