Temidayo Awe, a Coventry University student who helped kill Saul Murray in Luton, was found guilty of manslaughter for selling a false Rolex watch to a father of six.
The honey trap that killed 33-year-old Saul Murray outside his New Town Street flat on February 27, 2022, involved the third-year undergraduate.
After noticing Murray sporting Rolex watches on Instagram, Awe and three others planned to drug and robbed him. After reviewing hours of CCTV footage, police arrested 31-year-old Ikem Affia for Mr Murray’s murder.

Affia’s £1,300 Moncler coat, which she wore to plan Mr Murray’s murder, was vital evidence.
The UK had fewer than 300 of these coats, with only 69 sold online. Affia’s partner bought a rare coat last year and had it sent to his home.
Cleon Brown, 29, and Gurpreet Dhillon, 36, were both caught and sentenced for the murder.
Luton Crown Court heard that Dhillon had initially contacted Mr Murray on Instagram before she and Awe were caught on CCTV entering his flat at 11.40pm the night before he was found.
Awe left just before 2.30am while Dhillon held the community entrance open with a broom, allowing Awe to return with the two guys, one of them, Affia, had a huge knife.
The two women sedated Mr Murray and ran to the door before collapsing.
A neighbourhood fast food restaurant’s Surveillance showed Brown and Affia. Affia wears the same coat in it.

After contacting Dhillon, phone data placed Brown at the site. Another footage showed Brown’s Mercedes Benz acting strangely near the flat.
According to additional evidence, Brown hired a suspicious Mercedes Benz near Mr Murray’s flat.
After the crime, Brown was captured on Video vacuuming the Mercedes at a London petrol station. He’s wearing Mr Murray’s jogging pants.
