Recent revelations from documented evidence shed light on allegations against Yahaya Bello, suggesting that he paid substantial school fees in advance for both current and prospective family members at the American International School of Abuja. These payments, amounting to hundreds of thousands of dollars, were reportedly sourced from the state’s coffers.

A letter obtained from the school by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) corroborates these findings. This development has sparked widespread concern and calls for further investigation into the alleged misuse of public funds by the former state official.
