Actor and comedian Ras Nene has announced his intention to stop acting.
An interview with Poleeno Media, the renowned actor stated that he wants to open doors for new talent in Ghana’s entertainment industry.
Actor Ras Nene, who has been performing for more than 20 years, gave his opinion that many young, brilliant actors and actresses need the opportunity to show off their abilities. In order for these rising stars to realise their full potential, he urged Ghanaians to support and inspire them.
The actor further disclosed that his major brand status keeps him busy. Hence, in the near future, he hopes to take some time off and unwind.
With his distinct sense of humour and acting prowess, Ras Nene has been providing years of enjoyment to Ghanaians. Many have hailed his imminent retirement as a huge loss for Ghana’s entertainment sector.
