At Eagle Square in the federal capital territory, Bola Tinubu took the oath of office as president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Monday (FCT).
Foreign presidents, corporate executives, and politicians all attended the inaugural ceremony.
The previous governor of Lagos and his family attended the occasion and were decked out in the national colours of green, white, and green.
Remi was graciously modest in a Bordeaux-coloured velvet gown, while Tinubu was dressed in a basic white traditional attire with a matching green hat.
Their children, Folashade and Seyi, also attended the inauguration event dressed in green and white.
