Adewale Giwa, Awaiting The Second Coming of Christ Ministries’s senior pastor, advised Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi to find something else to do instead of waiting for justice before the Election Petition Tribunal.
Giwa told Akure members Obi was merely entertaining Nigerians.
He said: “I thought he couldn’t have gone too far. No social media fame lasts. No time for you! He deceived Atiku, his employer. Why didn’t you fight for Nigeria in your political party? You changed and claimed to be outside the system that got us here.
Proverbs 16:5 says God hates arrogance, pretence, and treachery. The Lord promises to punish them upstairs. We know all Nigeria’s politicians.
“He is spending his time entertaining Nigerians; don’t forget that the last presidential election was between the two elderly guys I called thieves. I predicted the superior one would rule.
“When I also informed you that Obi was a social media presidential candidate, his people assaulted me because they didn’t want to hear the truth. Their preachers convinced them they would triumph at many sessions. He’s now rich at the cost of the poor, who didn’t know where he was going. Supposedly, the reality is stranger than fiction!
Don’t spend your time, brother. The Lord sees the heart, not the outside.
“Whoever is President will prove some of us right or wrong. Will see. We want you to remember the people as you take the money, greedy politicians.
Nigerians own the money. At least, nothing hinders you from changing the nation and safeguarding Nigerians’ rights and dignity.”
