Osun State has completed preparations to enrol contributing pensioners in the state health insurance programme, and Governor Ademola Adeleke has ordered the immediate payment of pension entitlement as intended in the template provided earlier this year.
When greeting leaders of thought who paid him a sallah tribute, the Governor hinted that he had received numerous pensioner submissions and reaffirmed his campaign pledges to solve their difficulties.
The Governor asked the Head of Service to expedite implementation by paying pension arrears in accordance with the template provided earlier this year.
“The template was designed to gradually erase salary and pension obligations. The state’s financial situation is widely recognised. Our administration meets state demands with limited funds.
Our government prioritises worker welfare, both in-service and out-of-service personnel. I reaffirm our pensioner care. The Governor promised pensioners that they are not forgotten.
Governor Adeleke claimed his government has nearly finished enrolling pensioners in the state health insurance system to meet their health requirements.
Our government is focusing on pensioner health insurance enrolment. Seniors require ongoing health care. We recommend enrolling them to reduce treatment costs upon retirement.
“We’re working on specifics. “We will release it for immediate execution once it is finished,” Governor Adeleke said.
