Former House of Representatives member Hon. Taiwo Oluga welcomed former Osun State Governor Adegboyega Oyetola on his nomination as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by President Bola Tinubu.

The former federal lawmaker in Osogbo called the appointment a new challenge for the technocrat and insurance expert former Osun Governor.

Hon. Oluga, who represented the wonderful people of Irewole, Ayedaade, and Isokan Federal Constituency in the 9th Legislature, characterized Mr. Oyetola as a fantastic, calm, collected, thrifty, and competent leader whose experience the Nation needs.

“Former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola is a brilliant, mature, civil, and urbane technocrat politician with an extraordinary heart for development. She remarked, “His budgetary discipline, hard work, politeness, decency, and respect for others are essential for a twenty-first century development-oriented democracy that well-meaning Nigerians want.”

President Bola Tinubu would ultimately find his appointment a valuable addition to his administration’s revived Hope mission.

Hon. Oluga said the Osun ministerial nominee’s strategic planning and skills led to the state’s financial stability during his leave.

The former lawmaker urged Osun State APC members to keep optimism alive under the ministerial nominee to reposition the party for victory.
