Izon Bolodi Ogbo, a sociopolitical group in the South South Geopolitical Zone of Nigeria, has expressed gratitude to Nigerians for their support of a Southern President. Woyinekuro Zidougha ably leads it.

Woyinekuro Zidougha expressed gratitude on behalf of the group for “their expression of love and support to President and Vice President Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Sen Kashim Shettima during and after the election” to the Ijaw/Izon Nation and all Nigerians.

Zidougha said this at the Adaka Boro (HERO) Memorial Day ceremony in Kaiama, the late Hero Adaka Boro’s ancestral home in Kolokuma/Opokuma LGA, Bayelsa State.

Boro, he continued, is a representation of unity because, as he put it, “he battled for the unity of our great nation Nigeria, he said, and I repeat, united we stand, divided we fall.

“Let’s remain one country and one people. Backing the incoming administration would contribute to the development of a Nigeria in which we can all take pride, as stated by the Presidential Transition Council (PTC),” he remarked.
