Malik Basintale, the NDC’s Deputy Communication Director, told the NPP that the NDC would win the Assin North by-election despite the NPP’s attempts to capture power.
Malik thinks the New Patriotic Party cannot win over Assin North voters.
Malik Basintale said the NDC doesn’t care about the NPP’s tokens and money.
He stated that the NPP might exchange human parts or free passes to paradise but would still lose the by-election badly.
The Citi TV “Point of View” featured the Communication Officer.
We’ll win the by-election even if the NPP shares human parts and free paradise visas. From where I’m standing, we’ve been questioning and talking to folks. We listened. “We fixed what we could and improved what we could,” Malik added.
Charles Opoku of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is running against James Gyakye Quayson of the NDC, elected MP in 2020 but has faced nationality allegations.
Global InfoAnalytics found that Charles Opoku leads James Gyakye Quayson by a narrow margin in Tuesday’s by-election.
Before the by-election, 45.6 per cent of respondents wanted to vote for James Gyakye Quayson, while 46.7 per cent wanted to vote for Charles Opoku.
6.9% of respondents were still determining. Global InfoAnalytics believes this might decide the election.
