President Bola Tinubu was asked by the Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria (MHWUN) to continue prioritising education among other areas of the Nigerian economy.

The Federal University of Agriculture, Bassambiri (FUAB) is one of the newly approved universities, and its president, Biobelemoye Josiah, who is also the supreme ruler of Opu-Nembe Kingdom, Bassambiri, Bayelsa State, has been charged with ensuring the continuation of the Federal Government’s significant investment in these institutions.

He said the kingdom should be encouraged by supporting the success of the tertiary institution since it is a beacon of progress and enlightenment that would promote urbanisation, growth, and greater economic activities.

Also, he commended individuals who had contributed to FUAB’s approval and the decision to locate the institution in his Opu-Nembe kingdom.
