After news that Paris Saint-Germain had accepted an offer from Al Hilal for the France international in the amount of €300 million (£259 million), Kylian Mbappe has spoken out.

After Al Hilal’s offer to break the global record, PSG has permitted Mbappe to talk with the Saudi club.

With the intention of moving the player this summer, the Ligue 1 champions put the French international on the market and left him out of their squad for a pre-season tour of Japan and South Korea.

PSG has received other offers in addition to the record-breaking one from Al Hilal, including ones involving money and players.

Spurs are one of at least five teams allegedly interested in signing the 24-year-old. There are rumours of interest from Chelsea, Manchester United, Inter Milan, and Barcelona.

On Monday night, Mbappe veiled alluded to the attempt to break the Guinness record while tweeting in retaliation to Milwaukee Bucks basketball star Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Laughingly captioning a photo of himself, the two-time MVP tweeted: “Al Hilal, you may take me. I have Kylian Mbappe’s physique.

Mbappe posted 13 cry-laugh emojis in response, which may not bode well for Al Hilal’s prospects.
