Jeremiah Yakubu, the parish priest of the Holy Trinity, Kauru, was allegedly kidnapped on Sunday, according to Mr. Okolo.

“We are very sorry to inform you that our priest Jeremiah Yakubu has been abducted.

“The disgusting incident took place on Sunday, June 11, around 11:00.

The parish priest of Holy Trinity in Kauru, Mr. Jeremiah, was kidnapped from the church rectory in the Kauru local government region.

“Although we ask for fervent prayer for his swift and safe release, we also want to appeal to everyone to desist from enforcing the law.

Mr. Okolo declared, “We will employ all lawful means to achieve his swift and secure release.

In Nigeria’s northwest and north-central regions, kidnappings for ransom are frequent. One of the hardest devastated states is Kaduna.

Peas and religious leaders have been abducted in the state’s weaker communities. Some of them have died while being held captive, while others have been set free after being paid a ransom.
