Former presidential advisor Reno Omokri advised Igbos to turn IPOB into a political party.
He likened the separatist organisation to the Irish Republican Army, which abandoned violence and became a European political power.
The socio-political expert tweeted that Nigerians will vote for IPOB as a political party.
“Play your cards well,” Omokri added. Renounce violence like the Irish Republican Army, transform IPOB into a political party like Sinn Féin, and democratically capture control of the Southeast and make it a paradise. Nigerians would even vote for IPOB party Senators, Governors, and President. Who dislikes better?
“Ndi’Igbo love outweighs enmity. But, you are letting those who are shooting, assaulting, and abusing you while enforcing a sit-at-home order to persuade you that other Nigerians, who purchase from you, employ you, and rent houses to you, detest you.”
The article advised Igbos to avoid Radio Biafra because it spreads misinformation.
