Hong Kong, France-bound Chidike, Emenike Arrested for Cocaine, Heroin Ingestion

NDLEA agents nabbed two businessmen at Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (NAIA) with cocaine and heroin bound for Hong Kong and France in their tummies.

On Friday, October 20, 38-year-old ThankGod Chimamkpa Emenike was arrested at the Abuja airport boarding gate during the outward clearance of passengers on Air France flight 818 to Paris. On Saturday, October 21, 41-year-old Agbo Chidike Prince was arrested by the NDLEA while trying to board an Ethiopian Airlines flight ET 950 to Hong Kong via Addis Ababa.

Their body scan proved they had taken drugs, and they were arrested. Emenike pooped 72 wraps of heroin weighing 1.171 kilogrammes after days in jail, while Chidike expelled 49 pellets of cocaine weighing 998.53grams. Chidike said he sells spare parts at Alaba International Market in Ojo, Lagos. He said he would receive N3.5 million to import Hong Kong goods.

On Wednesday, October 25, NDLEA agents at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, MMIA, Ikeja Lagos, intercepted Qatar Airways flight passenger Agbo Celestine Tochukwu in terminal 11 with 58 parcels of skunk weighing 29.10kgs while he was boarding his flight to Oman. Tochukwu said he moved to Oman on May 6 and worked as a hotel attendant before turning to drug trafficking.
