Abuja (Sundiata The)—Plateau State Governor-elect Barr. Caleb Mutfwang has established a nine-member Transition Committee to guarantee a seamless transition on May 29.
At the ceremony, Mutfwang stated he would be a governor for everybody, regardless of political party, and urged the committee to consider their job as serving Plateau State.
The event disbanded the Atiku/Mutfwang campaign team, according to our source.
The nine-member group will work with a nine-man state government transition committee to ensure a smooth handover.
The governor-elect thanked the people for their faith and pledged to uphold it.
Mutfwang said his government will set standards and be accountable from the start.
He urged the state legislature to serve the public.
The Governor-elect stated the party has trust in the Judiciary, believes all state tribunals will operate with the fear of God and feeling of duty, and would do its utmost to win in all tribunals.
He praised the campaign council and believed the transition committee would succeed.
Chris Hassan, the state PDP chairman, praised the campaign system that helped the party win.
Hon. Latep Dabang, Chairperson of the Atiku/Mutfwang Campaign Council, said their mission was made easier by party and state assistance.
