The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lawsuit contesting Governor Abdullahi Sule’s re-election in the March 18 Nasarawa State gubernatorial election has been dismissed by INEC.

The INEC’s main lawyer, Ishaka Muddie Dikko (SAN), applied for such at the Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal in Lafia.

Dikko informed the election trial court that they have papers to tender from the bar, including form EC40 G (1) for 36 Ashige electoral wards and one Gayam electoral ward, form EC40 G for all 36 Ashige electoral wards, Lafia LGA, and others.

Adebayo Adelodu (SAN) for Governor Sule and Dr. Hassan Liman (SAN) for APC did not object to the papers’ inclusion. However, the petitioners’ attorney opposed the motion.

Judge Ezekiel Ajayi, tribunal chairman, approved the request and designated the papers as exhibits.
