Gary Neville: Man Utd won’t fire Ten Hag in the middle of the season

Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville has stated that the Premier League club will not dismiss manager Erik ten Hag in the middle of the season.

Neville made these remarks on Sky Sports after United narrowly defeated Coventry City in Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final.

He indicated that a decision regarding Ten Hag’s and the players’ futures will be made in the summer.

“They’ll make the decision on the manager and the players at the end of the season – they were never going to sack Ten Hag in the middle of the season,” Neville said.

“But they’ve made huge structural changes, and that’s the most potent thing, a sign that they weren’t happy with what they were seeing at the top of the club.

“I don’t think that will stop. There’s going to be some upheaval and turbulence for some time to come.”
