“Final Bus Stop” In Lagos Guber Ambition by Jandor

Abdul Azeez Olajide Adediran, who opposed Governor Babajide Sanwo-second Olu’s term bid before Peter Obi occurred to Labour Party and Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour became a fierce adversary, is back and hyping about his aspirations.

Adediran, also known as Jandor, who finished third in the gubernatorial race, is contesting Governor Sanwo-second Olu’s term in court.

Sanwo-Olu, the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), won the March 18, 2023, Lagos governorship election with 762,134 votes, and Rhode Vivour of the Labour Party received 312,329 votes. Jandor of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), who took an early lead in the campaigns but lost steam towards the election after losing key players, finished third with 62,449 votes.

He is disputing Sanwo-triumph Olu’s before the election tribunal based on petitions that the winner by a landslide and Rhodes-electoral Vivour’s participation be annulled.

Jandor claims that Sanwo-Olu and Rhodes-gubernatorial Vivour’s nominations violated election norms and should be disqualified.

“We also showed out where, and how all Respondents disregarded their own party Statutes and election standards, all of which are adequate grounds for disqualification,” he wrote on Thursday, July 13, 2023.

Nullifying the pair with several votes more than Adedidran in the Lagos state gubernatorial race puts him in the lead to win by default.

Rhodes: Vibrant
Jandor, 45, has pledged to go all out to achieve this goal.

“The next phase is final address and adoption of same before the judgement, and whatever comes out of that, whichever way it goes, Supreme Court is still last bus stop of the 2023 Election,” the PDP candidate told his supporters about the Lagos gubernatorial election tribunal and how far he is willing to go.

“Seven years ago, when I began this journey, my pledge to the people of Lagos was that this won’t simply be for the sake of it,” he said.

I said we will do everything necessary to get on the ballot and finish the process.

Now, I stand on that vow, and with his grace, we will finish this.”

Jandor’s Facebook post was his second after losing the March 18, 2023 governor race by “kilometres”.
