The expansion and improvement of fair access to healthcare services for all residents is one of the main priorities included in President Tinubu’s agenda.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has declared its desire to reduce drug imports from 60% to 40% as part of a calculated strategy to increase domestic medication production.
At a workshop to improve cooperation between the World Health Organization (WHO) and Nigeria, Salma Anas-Ibrahim, the Special Advisor to the President on Health, announced this progress.

According to Anas-Ibrahim, President Bola Tinubu has prioritised closing the gap in the nation’s health sector.

The expansion and improvement of fair access to healthcare services for all residents is one of the main priorities included in President Tinubu’s agenda.

Also, efforts are being made to implement a national health insurance programme to cover at least 40% of Nigeria’s population and guarantee that even the most disadvantaged groups have access to healthcare services.
