Tinubu attends the 2017 EU-AU summit in Abidjan with President Buhari.
After a month overseas, President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu will return to Nigeria on Monday.
APC followers are excited about the leader’s homecoming.
James Faleke, an associate of Tinubu and a House of Representatives member from Ikeja Federal District, declared his comeback.
His return to Nigeria follows weeks of speculation about his health and fears that his absence may delay power transition preparations.
Faleke told support groups that Tinubu would arrive at the presidential wing of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
“My unique family is made up of siblings and sisters. Faleke informed and requested that anybody in Abuja and Nasarawa is welcome to partake in greeting our People’s President and First Lady Elect tomorrow by 2 p.m. at the Presidential Wing of the International Airport.
Tinubu’s return to Nigeria is anticipated to revitalise the Presidential Transition Council (PTC) before his May 29 inauguration as president.
He appointed PTC members this week to join President Muhammadu Buhari’s 20-man team to guarantee a seamless power handover.
President Buhari reaffirmed his willingness to welcome Tinubu to the State House as president earlier in the week and maintained the May 29 handover date.
During an Eid phone contact with Tinubu, he assured her.
