According to Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, Manchester United and Brighton might pass his club for the fourth position in the Premier League.
With 59 points from 34 games, the Reds are in fifth position heading into this weekend. They are ahead of Brighton, which has 55 points after 32 games and is in sixth place. However, United, with 63 points from 33 games, is in fourth place.
“As long as other teams continue winning games, other teams are in a much better position. With the way they performed last night, Brighton can win every game they play till the end of the season. The football game was excellent.
“United has 63 points, while we have 59. The most we can get is 71. Eight points are required for United in 15. They probably will do it. That’s all they do is win three games,” Klopp told the media on Friday.
