The Lagos Assembly complimented the “outstanding performance” of police officers stationed in the state for guaranteeing a “hitch-free” election “devoid of violence,” according to a statement released by the Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, on Wednesday.
The Lagos State House of Assembly lauded the Force’s display of professionalism and neutrality, which enabled the actualization of an election that was deemed to be the fairest and most accessible in the annals of Nigeria’s democratic history, according to a portion of the statement that reads as follows: “In its letter dated April 4, 2023, and signed by the Clerk of the House, the Lagos State House of Assembly extolled the Force’s display of professionalism and neutrality.
