Demola Olarewaju, Atiku Abubakar’s special assistant on digital media strategy, has hailed the governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, as the uncontested leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) forces in Rivers State.

Expressing his views on his X account, the media aide lauded Fubara for displacing his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, from the state, labelling Wike as the former emperor who has now become an internally displaced politician seeking support from unfamiliar quarters.

Olarewaju wrote: “Good morning this morning, to Governor Sim Fubara, the undisputed Grand Commander of our PDP Forces in Rivers state. “You have uprooted the former emperor from Port-Harcourt and turned him into an internally displaced politician, seeking solidarity from strange places.”

Meanwhile, Fubara has proudly asserted that he has consistently made sound decisions ever since assuming office.

Fubara, who succeeded Nyesom Wike (the incumbent Minister of the Federal Capital Territory), urged Rivers citizens to be careful of being tempted by money to betray their principles.

He reaffirmed his commitment to collaborating with individuals who possess good intentions and progressive ideas to forge partnerships that will enhance the quality of life and promote sustainable development within the state.

During a meeting with a delegation from the Azuabie-Okujaku communities, who peacefully marched to the Government House in Port Harcourt, Fubara’s representative, George Nwaeke, she conveyed the governor’s message emphasizing that the overwhelming support from the people was genuine and heartfelt.

Nwaeke urged the people to serve as ambassadors for the governor, emphasizing the importance of shunning monetary temptations and focusing on the welfare of the people.

In a press release signed by his Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Nelson Chukwudi, Fubara acknowledged residents’ concerns regarding the condition of public schools in their communities and other pressing matters. He assured them of the government’s commitment to addressing these issues and providing maximum support to their communities.
