DJ Cuppy, a well-known Nigerian disc jockey, has left her country and is now living in Dubai with her boyfriend, Ryan Taylor.
Cuppy explained why she moved to the UAE after being engaged to Taylor in a recent interview that was posted on YouTube. She also claimed she wanted to get to know herself better outside of her business.
She insisted that she and her fiancé adore living in Dubai because “I get to be myself.”
It’s been a great break, you know, since I’ve moved to Dubai, I’m engaged, and my fiance lives there.
“Therefore, after two days, I became engaged. Given how quickly it happened, you get to know the individual afterwards. I, therefore, asked, “Where do you live?” He said, “I’m in Dubai,” and I said, “Oh.” I have thus gone back and forth.
“When I woke up after turning 30 I was like, ‘Who am I outside of Cuppy?'” I also reside in Dubai as a result of the many years I spent developing my brand. I enjoy being myself while living with my fiancé.
When the performer revealed that they became engaged only 25 days of the meeting, many of her fans were in disbelief.
Cuppy celebrated Taylor’s 30th birthday on March 19. She referred to Taylor as “my future spouse” and expressed gratitude for him.
