Dejo Richards, the ex-husband of Nollywood actress Monalisa Chinda-Coker, has returned to the entertainment world. After his painful divorce from his actress wife a few years ago, the showbiz mogul left the scene. Richards was accused of domestic violence during his marriage to the actress.
After their marriage ended in 2009, he fled into obscurity and subsequently attempted marriage again. He fell in love with Olamide Yetunde, but their marriage did not last. No one knew where he was for many years, until he reappeared a few years ago.
During his years of quiet, Richards pursued ministerial studies and was ordained as a pastor. He is presently a pastor in Dominion City, Ajah, where he leads his church in the presence of God on a weekly basis. Notwithstanding his governmental duties, he did not completely forsake show business.
He founded Sapphire Nation, a media and entertainment organization that specializes in public relations, image consulting, and music management. Nevertheless, he is no longer supporting secular music but only Christian music.
He also has a television show called ‘Lifestyle with Dejo Richards,’ which focuses on people, products, locations, and services. Rave TV contains over 20 parts of lifestyle and entertainment material, and he is planning to expand to five more TV stations. He is also developing a Lagos Lifestyle Award in partnership with the Lagos State Government.
