Deji Adeyanju, a human rights activist, explains why President Bola Tinubu keeps losing to other presidential contenders like Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party.
“Tinubu will win again by over 2 million votes if another election is held tomorrow with the opposition split,” he tweeted.
“Cry from now till 2027, Tinubu will be president and will flog your Atiku and Obi again if they don’t unite to beat criminal APC,” the social affairs analyst taunted fans of both Atiku and Obi.
Both Atiku and Obi were PDP members, which served as their combined campaign organisation for the 2019 presidential election.
In the run-up to the 2023 presidential election, PDP candidate Obi switched to the Labour Party.
Due to the two gladiators being on the ballot, the opposition’s votes were split, giving Tinubu the advantage.
Now, the two parties have brought Tinubu before the tribunal in an effort to get compensation for an election they claim was rigged in the All Progressives Congress’s favour.
