The Peoples Democratic Party presidential contender, Atiku Abubakar, claims that the government manipulated facts about President Bola Tinubu’s Chicago State University academic credentials.

After weeks of legal battles, the CSU gave Tinubu’s academic record to Atiku, who filed it as new evidence at the Supreme Court on Friday.

Atiku and Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi filed 86 Supreme Court grounds to overturn the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal’s Tinubu victory.

The former VP’s Media Adviser, Paul Ibe, said Sunday that certain media advisers to the president have openly “pushed back on the narrative.”

He also said that some media outlets have skewed their stories to justify a distorted version of the disposition.

He swore an affidavit to prove Tinubu lied to the Independent National Electoral Commission.

He stated, “On page 26 of the publicly available deposition, the Registrar of Chicago State University, Caleb Westberg, under oath, was asked a straightforward question: “CSU has decided that it does not have a true and correct copy of Bola Tinubu’s 1979 diploma, correct?” Registrar replied, “That’s correct.”

On page 27, a similar inquiry was asked by Mr. Westberg: Thus, CSU went over every diploma and found no valid duplicate of any 1979 Tinubu diploma. Correct? The CSU Registrar replied, “We did not discover any diploma issued by CSU in 1979 to Mr. Tinubu.”

Atiku’s aide said Mr. Westberg replied, “Correct, we are unaware of it.”
