David de Gea, the custodian for Manchester United, has called Cristiano Ronaldo a “beast.”
This came after the captain of Portugal played in his 200th international match for his team on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, Ronaldo contributed to his record-breaking performance by scoring a late goal to give his nation a 1-0 victory against Iceland in the UEFA Euro qualifiers.
Being the first male player to make 200 appearances abroad, the 38-year-old was also added to the Guinness World Records.
Ronaldo responded by releasing an Instagram video after the game, writing: “200 games with the same devotion, commitment, and responsibility, exactly like the first time I played with this shirt. I’m here, keeping the ball in the net, going for my dream, and giving all I’ve got for the team and our nation. For the love of Portugal.
The great attacker and David de Gea shared the field 53 times. David de Gea replied beneath the post with the word “Beast.”
