Christian Pulisic exuded pride following his pivotal role in AC Milan’s comeback to salvage a point against Sassuolo in Serie A action.

The USMNT star began the match on the bench, watching as his side trailed 3-2. With 25 minutes remaining, Pulisic entered the fray, replacing Samuel Chukwueze. Milan rallied, finding the equalizer less than 20 minutes later, courtesy of Noah Okafor’s strike past goalkeeper Andrea Consigli.

Pulisic, enjoying a standout season at the San Siro since his move from Chelsea, has contributed significantly with 10 goals and six assists in the league. While he didn’t add to his tally on Sunday, he expressed satisfaction with his team’s resilient performance against Sassuolo.

Looking ahead, Pulisic is anticipated to reclaim his spot in Stefano Pioli’s starting lineup for Milan’s crucial Europa League quarter-final second-leg clash against Roma on Thursday. Following a 1-0 defeat in the first leg at San Siro, Milan aims to overturn the deficit against Roma to advance in the competition.
