Express.co reported that Chelsea have reportedly entered the race to sign Celta Vigo midfielder Gabri Veiga.
According to The Guardian, the 21-year-old is on Mauricio Pochettino’s mind as he creates a new midfield. He is also a target for Liverpool, Newcastle, and Barcelona.
The Blues are reportedly prepared to ‘push hard’ to sign Veiga and have moved on to other targets after failing to sign Manuel Ugarte.
Veiga is affordable since his contract has a £34 million release clause. Chelsea and Pochettino are both interested in signing Moises Caicedo from Brighton.
