Former Roma player Antonio Cassano has slammed Manchester City attacker Erling Haaland, claiming that the Norwegian “doesn’t know how to play football.”
Cassano, who was impressed by Haaland’s physical abilities, did not regard the Premier League record-breaker as a footballer.
Cassano remarked on Bobo TV: “Haaland reminds me of Adriano’s period at Inter.” Ibrahimovic with Adriano’s speed? Yep, really well. I agree, even if Ibra [Ibrahimovic] was more technical than Haaland.
“He is a cross between Adriano and Vieri.”
“There are other strikers who know how to play football, such as Lewandowski and Benzema.” He [Haaland] does not know how to play football. He is a fantastic scorer. But don’t you rather a striker who knows how to play football?”
