“It is with a sad heart that I have to report to you the passing away of my dear father, Paramount Ruler of Obudu Local Government Area and Chancellor of the University of Cross River State,” said Kjay Jedy-Agba, one of the monarch’s sons.
Given his royal status, the immediate family may not know the full details of his final funeral protocol.
“We must follow our people’s custom in all activities leading to his final obsequies.
“I will try to inform you once the traditional institution decides.”
The Minister’s family requested prayers at this difficult time.
Buhari appointed Gody Jedy-Agba in 2019.
