After the advancement of Mason Mount’s contract, Manchester United fans all around the globe may now exhale with relief.
In an effort to come to an agreement on a transfer cost for an England international, the Red Devils and the Blues have been at odds. According to transfer news analyst Fabrizio Romano, Mason Mount will get £60 million from Manchester United, with £55 million set and £5 million in add-ons.
According to reports, Chelsea has turned down three offers from Manchester United in the last three weeks. But Mount has been granted permission to complete a medical exam and settle personal matters, and both clubs have begun the process.
It’s anticipated that Mount will sign a long-term deal that would keep him at Old Trafford at least until 2028, with an option to extend until 2029.
