The Commissioner for Health in Ondo State, Banji Ajaka, was brutally assaulted by enraged members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Saturday at Ugbo Ward 3, Ilaje Local Government Area of the state. He was accused of hiding the result sheets during the party’s primary election.

According to a source, “Ajaka was beaten in his hometown after his name was mentioned in connection with the Aiyedatiwa camp, which compromised the system by removing the result sheet from the materials given to them.

“The place was like a tumultuous ocean for the supporters of Chief Olusola Oke.

“Ugbo Ward 3 people were extremely agitated by the ugly situation, as they all believed that it is time for Oke to govern this state.”

Confirming the incident, Ajaka stated that he was attacked due to allegations that he possessed the result sheet. He explained that the mob descended on him while he was attempting to clarify the situation.
