Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has vowed to support President Bola Tinubu and the federal government. Eno made the commitment yesterday following a private meeting with the President at the ASo Rock Mansion, when he briefed State House reporters.
“Governance has begun; politics is over,” he declared. So, Akwa Ibom is a crucial component of Nigeria, and we must collaborate with the Federal Government to make sure that Akwa Ibomites experience the benefits of democracy. If we work independently, we will not be able to accomplish this.
In order for Akwa Ibomites to fully benefit from democracy, we went to see the President, as I have mentioned, to congratulate him and to express our commitment as a state to working with him.
We have a lot of expectations of the federal government, and only through cooperation will we be able to work together for the common good. I will do whatever I can to ensure that my people receive the benefits of democracy.
