According to the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, a fire occurred at the well-known Alaba International Market in Ojo, Lagos.

Firefighters from Ojo, Sari-Iganmu, and Ajegunle were allegedly prevented from extinguishing the fire by an enraged mob.
