Messers KSR3 Global Nigeria Limited was given the contract to purchase and install taxi lighting systems, photometric patterns, and other equipment.
The federal government of Nigeria has authorised the purchase of taxi lighting systems for aircraft landing in Port Harcourt, Lagos, and Abuja airports.
Hadi Sirika, the minister of aviation, disclosed that N3,047,127,022.72 was the total purchase cost, including the photometric pattern machines.
On Monday, May 15, 2023, in the Presidential Villa in Abuja, at an Extraordinary Federal Executive Council meeting presided over by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, the consent was given.
Together with the acquisition, the council also adopted a strategy for the aviation industry, which will set up an aviation leasing company to offer reasonably priced equipment leasing to business owners and Nigeria’s civil aviation sector.
Sirika acknowledged his happiness over the whole business case approved by the council.

The project has a 12-month completion window, and 7.5% VAT is included in the overall cost.
