Addressing a gathering of supporters at the APC national secretariat in Abuja, the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, delivered a persistent message to those eyeing President Bola Tinubu’s position in Aso Rock come the 2027 general elections: there will be no vacancy in the presidential seat of power.

Ganduje’s remarks, made on Monday during a solidarity visit, were underscored by a tone of confidence and determination. He specifically targeted the leadership of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and its affiliates in Kano State, accusing them of orchestrating protests and campaigns aimed at ousting him from his role as National Chairman of the APC.

According to Ganduje, the NNPP and its associates have resorted to propaganda against the APC leadership following their defeat in the previous general election. He emphasized the APC’s unity and strength, highlighting the influx of new members into the party and asserting that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will continue as the President of Nigeria in 2027, “Insh-Allah.”

Ganduje called upon supporters to remain steadfast in their commitment to the APC, emphasizing the party’s resilience and collective vision for the future. He criticized the actions of the Kano State government, accusing them of diverting attention from the people’s needs and demands.

The solidarity walk’s convener, Prof. Salihu Alizaga, echoed Ganduje’s sentiments, emphasizing the APC’s unity and dismissing claims of discord within the party as unfounded. Party members’ solidarity reaffirmed their unwavering support for the APC and its leadership.
