The West Africa Automotive Show (WAAS) has gained popularity with the announcement that more than thirty Chinese businesses would exhibit at the 2023 edition, which will be held at the Landmark Centre on Victoria Island in Lagos.
The annual exposition display, scheduled for Tuesday, May 16th to Thursday, May 18th, will bring in major personalities from the automotive world to debate the possibilities in Nigeria’s own automobile parts market.
The Chinese delegation, which will stage a post-covid-19 comeback, will be prominent among the exhibitors. Additional help comes from the Automobile Components and Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA). The organization will bring together 20 Indian enterprises in a central pavilion promoting motor vehicle components and services.
Speaking ahead of the expo, Jamie Hill, the Managing Director of BtoB Events, claimed that interest from Chinese firms will bring great emotions 2 the exhibition.
“We are delighted that ACMA is hosting its first country pavilion at WAAS, and we are delighted that Chinese auto parts firms were able to return to Nigeria following the epidemic.”
Visitors will acquire considerably more information about the newest advances and even become more informed about alternative business prospects in the after-sales industry as the exhibition area and conference are expanded.”
“I’m pleased that exhibitor numbers and interest are increasing, implying that the 2023 exhibition will be three times the size of last year’s event.” ‘More than 40 countries from five continents will take part,’ he guaranteed.
Similarly, the show will bring together top leaders from big automobile firms in Nigeria and West Africa. They will comprise assembly factories, distributors, importers, and local and regional offices of multinational brands such as Toyota and others.
